Day 2 Fabulous flora

Activity 1. Weaving a tall tale

I am very interested in harakeke / flax weaving at school we have done little flowers. I am interested in doing something much bigger maybe a hat or a bag. They have classes at our local marae to teach you how to weave. I was gifted a lovely hat from my cousin Amiria her nana from Te kaha made it she is very good at weaving. The hat started off very dark and slowly has become lighter.
