It is a part of a large city called auckland. There is lots of traffic and roadworks where I live. There are lots of parks in Papakura and a swimming pool with a big blue slide. My grandparents moved here in 1980 they still live in the same house that my mum grew up in.

Thanks for sharing what you think is so important about where you live. I really appreciate that you've taken an image that is very familiar to Papakura! I'm not from Papakura, but I can respect that that statue is a popularly associated image of Papakura.
I like how you've pointed out that Papakura is a part of Auckland. Do you go to the pools often? I would love to be sitting in a pool right now, it is SO hot! Thanks for telling us about your grandparents— where did they move from?

I try to go to the pools and beach as much as i can its very hot today my grandparents are from the thames coast.
