Day 1 In the beginning top 3 fun facts about New Zealand Summer learning journey

    Well done for completing another SLJ activity— you're on a roll!
    Thanks for researching some facts about New Zealand. Another student from a different school also chose Fact # 1: I had no idea that this was the case. I have a few friends from New South Whales who would be happy to hear this fact.
    I find Fact # 2 valuable— I lived in Australia for several years and I've seen snakes a few times. I'm glad we don't have any here— I don't have to be cautious about walking my dog.
    Fact # 3 is my favourite— I love Gizzy! I'm also from Gisborne so I'm well aware that we are the first city to see the sun. All of the locals are really proud of this fact. Have you ever been to Gisborne?

    I have not been to gisbourne yet I would love to go and take my dog she is a british bulldog named Luna.

    I love this programme I look forward to it everyday.

    You should definitely visit Gisborne some day, the beaches here are SO beautiful. Apparently the water was about 16 degrees overnight. So lovely to hear that you too have a dog. Luna sounds adorable! My dog is an American Staffy X Red Heeler— I've had her since she was 9 weeks old and she is now almost 6! I bought her to New Zealand from Australia a few months ago and she has settled in really nicely.

    I'm glad to hear that you enjoy this programme— I hope you're learning heaps!
